Horses perceive the world like humans do in some ways, and very differently in others.

Like us, horses use the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch to gather information about the enviroment and their position in it.

This page will provide some information about equine senses and the ways we can use enrichment to give our horses the opportunity to express sensory-specific behaviors.
